Beyond the Dune Sea’s debut full length is a brilliant album. And it was done in such a “post-musical” style as well. A series of live jams were recorded and the whole thing was put together in post-production style by Adam Kennedy. “Abondance de périls” is the new ep by Vision Éternel. As it’s third release, the band has moved to a newer sound, but still keeping the composition it is known for. This splendid short play will be your soundtrack to late lonely nights, and will make you feel just like the artist was when writing these pieces. As usual for the band, it is a concept album. It is the third instalment in the post-phases of love. For the first time VE has worked with external artists (in the mastering and the artwork of the album) and it adds an entire new dimension to this beautiful masterpiece.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. This is Beyond the Dune Sea.

For this band that happened accidentally, just as some high school friends started jamming together after some years had gone by, there are no limits. It isn’t a mad experiment that many bands seem to comfort themselves within the trend, but rather a series of jams that turned out spectacular. And their debut offering, the self-titled album released in Abridged Pause Recordings will let you hear just what this new wave of post-rock can bring. BTDS is getting ready to play some intense live shows very soon, so keep a look out on them!

We all know of the great Smohalla. Well when its divided in two, there’s Phlegma on one side and Stagnant Waters on the other side. Phlegma was a solo project by Slo which was created before the formation of Smohalla, and Stagnant Waters was started by Camille some time in 2008. These are the very first demos written by each band. Phlegma has since gone under but does plan a return in the future. Stagnant Waters is now working on a full length to be released on Paradigms Recordings.

This split is released 100% free, so you better enjoy it!
